About Erika
Still learning. Still listening. Still becoming.
Erika X. Driscoll is a keynote speaker, author, performance poet, Navy veteran, and management professional whose work explores fear management, identity, and the choices that shape a life.

Authenticity does not require giving every private part of a life to the public.
Her work
A voice shaped across stage, page, and practice.
Erika’s perspective has been formed in places where words and actions both carry weight: military service, management and leadership, poetry, and the live exchange between a speaker and an audience.
She speaks and writes about fear management as a skill: recognizing how fear influences decisions, testing the assumptions beneath it, and practicing how to respond with greater intention. The work is not about finding a hidden internal quality and simply forcing oneself forward.
Erika does not present herself as a guru or clinical provider. She offers experience shaped into story, practical questions, and lessons that listeners and readers can consider in the circumstances of their own lives.
A continuing practice
Speaking and writing are connected parts of Erika’s work. A keynote can make an idea immediate in a room; a memoir can give a reader time to remain with it; a poem can hold an image or contradiction without rushing to resolve it. Across those forms, Erika’s purpose is not to prescribe a perfect life. It is to invite closer attention to the lives we are already living.
