The keynote is a carefully prepared literary performance: clear ideas, emotional range, story, reflection, and moments of levity held together with purpose. Depending on the event and schedule, Erika may also join a panel, facilitate audience Q&A, offer a reading, or take part in a moderated conversation.
She values the conversations that happen after the formal program, when someone can ask the question they were still forming during the talk. When time permits, Erika welcomes those exchanges in the lounge or shared event spaces—without asking attendees to spend the evening in a long signing line.
